Daycare and Playgroups
 Petropolis
Park caters to dogs that like to have fun. At daycare, they get
unlimited play within customized groups, devised for their comfort
and enjoyment. The playgroups change daily, depending on the dogs
attending that day and their respective moods. The 4,000-square-foot indoor area has three distinct playrooms:
- The Playground — where the largest and most active dogs can
be rambunctious.
- The Meadow — for dogs who are a little older and prefer a
less active room.
- The Green House — a living room-like home setting for our
smaller and younger dog guests.
Within their group and their protected playroom, they roam freely
just like they were at home. They can play wrestle, fetch balls,
play tug-of-war, catch bubbles, or just “hang out” and watch from
their comfy perch upon a nearby Kuranda™ dog cot … it‘s entirely up to
them. Those who are less social, or simply dog-tired, are rotated
between play areas and can rest quietly in The Green House located
up front from us adjacent to the reception desk. Come late
afternoon, you can treat your pet to a “Frosty Paws” dog ice cream
or other snacks we serve during “Yappy Hour.” Throughout the day,
our Petropolis “Park Rangers” provide constant supervision, as well
as cuddles and hugs, in between the fun and games.
Clients who may want their dog to have individualized, one-on-one
play time for Frisbee and ball tossing, swimming or agility training
may book a 30-minute P.E.T. session (Personalized Exercise Time) for
an extra fee. And on select Saturday mornings, we host a special
play and socialization group for puppies aged 8-16 weeks to
familiarize these young ‘uns with people and pets both inside and
outside the immediate family unit.
